Privacy Policy
What we collect, where it goes, how to remove it
This privacy policy is a working draft. The author is the data controller. Where third-party processors are used, links to their own policies are provided.
What we collect
If you sign the Manifesto as a citizen, we collect: your name, email address, city, country, and optional affiliation. Your email is held by CleverReach GmbH (Germany), the email-list provider, under their privacy policy. The rest is held in EU-jurisdictional infrastructure on this site.
If you sign as a politician or public official, we collect: your name, office or title, party (where provided), country, contact email, optional portrait, and optional note. Held in EU-jurisdictional infrastructure on this site.
If you sign as a company, we collect: company name and URL, logo file, country of incorporation, your name and role as the signing representative, contact email, and optional note. Held in EU-jurisdictional infrastructure on this site.
If you sign as an organisation or institution (NGO, university, foundation, public body, civil-society organisation, trade union), we collect: organisation name and URL, logo file, country of incorporation, your name and role as the signing representative, contact email, and optional note. Held in EU-jurisdictional infrastructure on this site.
How we use it
- Email addresses: confirming your signature via double-opt-in; emailing you when major updates are published. No marketing, no third-party sharing, no cadence promise.
- Display on the site: your name (citizens, politicians), office and party (politicians), company or organisation name plus logo (companies, organisations), city or country, affiliation if you provide one. We do not display your email address.
- Manifesto delivery: aggregated signatures may be cited when the Manifesto is referenced (e.g. “signed by 12,000 European citizens, 230 politicians, 45 companies, and 60 organisations”).
What we do not do
- Sell your data
- Share with advertisers
- Use cookies for tracking (the only analytics is Plausible, which is cookie-free and anonymous)
- Pass data to non-EU processors except CleverReach’s German infrastructure

- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify any incorrect data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
